"Eyesore" Applications

Nigel Baudains of The Guernsey Press recently contacted NTG for Council's view on the current and contentious "eyesore" development issue.

Any views expressed are on behalf of Council - in the broad terms of our Mission Statement. We do not pertain to represent the views of all of our Members. NTG is pleased that we have been asked for our opinion and understand that the "eyesore's" debate is still a young one - it may be in the offing that NTG is required to speak more loudly.
NTG prefers to work with the Environment Committee to ensure that the development of sensitive sites and historic buildings reflects Guernsey's very special nature.
We will be following this topic with a keen eye and ear.
